From The Desk of Maverick Brenton.
Subject: Merry Christmas For 2019.
Just the other night while at my desk and working on some work, a little Birdy came riding the wind all the way to my windowsill.
This little Birdy told me that you’re fired up for the coming year.
And he said that you’re ready to kick some ass.
After he finished chirping his little message to me – I leaned back in my chair and replied:
That’s good to hear, little Birdy – now you fly along, and you give them all a little message from me. You fly along, and you tell em I said this…
I hear you’ve got big plans for 2020?
I hear that you’re itching for a change.
You’ve finally had enough of the same old silly shit and that’s fair enough –kissing ass for a living ain’t no way to go about living.
You’ve had it with the bullshit too, haven’t you?
Everywhere you look, it’s sitting there looking back at you – on supermarket shelves, on television channels and on the screen of your fancy smartphone
If some little faggot isn’t trying to tell you what you’re allowed to say, some feminist is telling you that you’re a pig – and if you managed to avoid those two, there’s no escape from the smooth talking cunts on the internet trying to sell you their marketing courses so you can be just like them.
Now you, well, you and I both – we feel like Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood, when he said:
“I just want to make enough money to get away from everyone.”
Wouldn’t that be wonderful.
I also heard you’ve had enough of your soul killing job, too.
The little birdy told me all about that.
He said you’ve had enough of your gossiping and bickering brain-dead co-workers, you’ve had enough of filling out permission paperwork to take a holiday and you’ve had enough of looking like Limp Dick Larry who can’t do a single push up without crying.
He said you’re done living like a slave and begging for scraps like a beggar on the streets of India, because you’ve finally realised that this ain’t India – this is the wild west baby, where any man with big balls and a dream can become somebody.
Well that’s damn good to hear because that’s what this game of living is all about.
It’s about kicking some fucking ass, making some fucking money, fulfilling your fucking destiny and going out with a fucking smile on your face.
What’s that old saying that the winners say to the losers?
Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
Now can you believe a new decade is right on our doorstep?
You better believe it because it is and time ain’t gonna slow down either – if anything it’s only gonna go faster as you get older.
That’s why you must ensure that every day, when you get out of bed, you’re going after what you want for yourself, not what anyone else wants for you.
Imagine reaching the end of your life and realising that you wasted your best years pleasing people and kissing ass while making somebody else richer in return for a shitty little pay cheque.
All because you were too afraid to take a chance.
Fuck that, man.
Why not cash in on your heart, take a damn risk and live the life you imagined yourself living as a child, before everybody told you what was and wasn’t possible?
Now that’s a better strategy if you ask me.
And it’s exactly what every great person had to do, in order to become who they became – they had to put their balls on the line, ignore the naysayers and trust in themselves.
Do you think Arnold listened to his broke ass friends and relatives?
He trusted his gut instinct, had a vision that he was willing to die for and didn’t give a fuck what other people thought.
Do you think anyone believed in Felix Dennis when he said he would become a rich man?
He had to believe in himself and he had to have faith in his dream because that is all you will have when you’re coming up from nothing – nobody is gonna give a fuck about your dream and nobody is gonna believe in your dream.
As a general rule of human nature: outside of your bloodline people don’t care about you – they only care about what you can do to serve their interests.
They’re not going to believe in you because they don’t give a fuck about you.
Why should they?
What makes you special to them?
You might be special to your mummy and you might think you’re different to everyone else, but as soon as you leave the nest – you’re in a world full of people who want your money, your energy and your time for their own personal use and their own personal gain.
Now I’m not saying everyone is bad because there are plenty of good people out there who are genuinely good people.
There are also plenty of very smart and very nasty parasites who want to feed off you and who don’t care about right or wrong – they only care about winning.
And they only care about winning so that they can take care of their own blood using the resources they gain from winning.
I’ve encountered many of these parasites throughout my life and they love to prey on stupid people because these stupid people are like helpless little lambs.
If you just be smart, dangerous and pay attention – they’ll scamper right past you and look for another host to feed off.
Experience has taught me that developing the ability to see through the games and manipulations of these parasites is very important because if you can outsmart them, they cannot hurt you.
At the end of the day this is just how nature works – most people don’t care about you and the parasites only see you as food.
So bet on yourself and take it upon yourself to succeed.
Develop the self-belief, the balls, the grit required to win.
And ignore the normal people when they get in your ear with their doubts and concerns.
They will never see what you see in your mind and they will never understand when you talk about living an above average life of freedom and accomplishment.
To them: being debt free, living well and having a mission is like a foreign language – they know it exists and they know it’s there, but they don’t bother with it because it’s too hard to understand.
All they know is bills, bills, bills.
So ignore them because all they can see is another 30 years of kissing ass and taking orders from their boss.
Do you really wanna spend the rest of your life calling another human boss?
Probably not if you’re a true individual with a mission to accomplish in this life.
If you’re a born slave then you’ll be fine with it.
But a born slave wouldn’t have made it this far into the article – so guess what that means, friendo?
Whether you had a good year or a bad year in 2019, does not matter now.
She’s all over and done.
Sitting around thinking about what could have been different isn’t going to get you anywhere nor is it going to make you feel any better.
Here is how you can feel better:
Get off your lazy ass and decide to create your own reality in 2020.
Take action. Take names. Take souls.
Make the decision to stop living your life in transit like a fucking animal locked in a zoo.
Start putting your time into the things that are truly important to you.
And cut everything else out, everything.
Cut the people out of your life who waste your time and suck your energy.
Cut the bullshit out of your life that distracts you from what matters.
Cut the job out that makes you tired and miserable.
Fuck it all off!
Can you do that?
Can you give up everything that doesn’t matter to get everything that does?
If you think you can – sit your ass in a chair, turn off your smartphone and write down exactly what you want accomplished by the end of 2020.
This is what I did one year ago.
Late one night when the moon was high in the sky, I sat down with a cigar and I decided what I wanted to accomplish over the coming year.
Now guess what?
The things I wrote down became the things I focused on achieving and one year later I’ve done what I decided to do.
I made it through the first year of the blog business, wrote a novel, surpassed my goals in the gym, and got myself a nice reliable truck – paid for in cash money baby.
That’s what happens when you get crystal clear on what you want to accomplish: you find a way to get it.
But you gotta be honest with yourself – that is more important than anything else.
If you cannot admit to yourself what you want out of life, then you are not gonna get it.
You will instead get whatever comes your way.
And whatever comes your way is never what you really want – it’s just whatever comes your way.
So be honest.
What do you really want?
If it’s deadlifting heavy shit like yours truly pictured above, then admit you want it.
If it’s having your cock sucked by a little blonde who bakes you cookies every Sunday, then admit you want it.
If it’s quitting your job, telling your boss to shove it and building your own business – then just admit that you want it.
Look in the mirror and say to yourself with eyes of fury:
“This is who I am, this is what I want for myself and I will find fucking a way to acquire it.”
What is so hard about that?
It’s incredibly easy if you just grow a pair of balls.
The majority of people in this world will never find the balls to look in the mirror and admit what they want – they’re scared of everything, they think they have something to lose, and they prefer comfort over discomfort.
Like fearful little lambs they cower at the feet of life and worry about everything that could go wrong.
What if? What if? What if?
Pussies who get fucked by life over and over because that is what happens when you are a pussy.
A minority of people will stop caring about what they have to lose and start focusing on what they have to gain.
The rest of them will just sit around crying and call me a dick when they read this – because the truth hurts and it always will.
So what are my plans for 2020?
What’s my agenda for the next decade?
That’s for me to know and you to read about in the years to come.
If you want a tip for the coming years, here is one:
Do not bat an eyelid at what anybody else is doing and be like a fucking racehorse – put the blinders on and see nothing except your goal.
Don’t worry about what your friends are doing. Don’t worry about what’s happening on the television. Don’t worry about Donald Trump.
Just focus on waking up every morning and knowing exactly what you want to achieve.
Start paying attention to the habits that keep you stuck in life too.
If you’re waking up every single day with a foggy mind, a flabby belly and an empty bank account, then you have some bad habits that you need to replace with better ones.
Now in addition to removing bad habits, here is something else that I realised recently:
Your life right now is the product of the decisions you made in the past.
Your reality right now was created by you in the past via the decisions you chose to makes.
YOU CREATED WHAT YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW.
So if you don’t like what you have right now, how about you stop living silly like there is no tomorrow?
There is always a tomorrow.
And that tomorrow carries with it the consequences of the choices you make today.
Everything in this life has a price and you don’t have to pay that price until the time comes to pay that price.
But the time to pay the price, will come.
It will always come.
Might be fun throwing all the toys you want on the credit card.
Might feel good driving around on those wheels you just financed.
Might be easy skipping the gym, wasting your money every week and only doing what feels good.
You just wait until the bill comes in the mail.
It won’t be pretty and there won’t be anyone waiting around to split it with you either.
So do yourself a favour and don’t be one of those idiots who can only think five minutes ahead.
Build a future that will be worth living, instead.
Merry Christmas and see you in 2020.
